A FIRE broke out at a former church building this morning, Monday.
Three fire engines were sent to Twist Lane in Leigh at around 6.05am where they used a hose reel and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the flames.

No-one was reported to have been hurt in the blaze.
Police were also in attendance.
