Jason Pye was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Monday
A MAN who assaulted a woman was handed a community order.
Jason Pye, of Torside Close, Hindley admitted carrying out the assault on August 24 and causing £400 of damage to windows owned by the victim.
The 20-year-old must carry out 40 hours of unpaid work, pay £400 in compensation, a victim services surcharge fee of £90 and court costs of £85.
He has been told to complete a rehabilitation course too.
