A woman had a morning to forget after her car ended up in a hole in the road in Chislehurst earlier.
The red car became lodged inside a hole at Yester Road at around 8.30am this morning and emergency services attended.
One person at the scene told News Shopper the woman who was driving was taken to hospital.
"She went a bit white with shock," he added.
Thames Water insist that barriers were placed across the whole road and sent us in photographs taken yesterday.
They are investigating how it happened and will be sending a full statement later.
Police confirmed they attended the incident.
The road remains closed.
