A MUSIC centre which is providing a base to nurture musicians of all ages is thriving.
The Music Centre moved into its premises on the third floor of Leigh Spinners Mill four months ago and musicians young and old have been flocking to its new home.
And two months ago, children's music firm Tuneful Tots set up inside the property to offer lessons for youngsters under the age of five.
The centre, which employs tutors who mainly teach guitar, drums and piano, has seven studios and is three times larger than its previous site on Charles Street.
It caters for all musical genres from rock and pop to classical.

Owner John Aldridge, 40, from Leigh, said: "Business has increased significantly since we moved here which is nice.
"We saw the potential in the way things are going at the mill - it looked like a good proposition for the future.
"The centre also needed the extra space to expand the business.
"We give lessons to children from five all the way up to adults."
The company has also taken on more tutors since its change of premises to cope with the uptake of business.
Tuneful Tots owner Joanne Baldwin, from Leigh, is John's partner.
She believes her organisation is the first of its kind in the town.

The 39-year-old, who is a lead singer on stage for band, The Sonneteers, offers fun but structured music lessons for under 5s.
She said: "It's been brilliant so far.
"The business has taken off like a storm.
"We are bringing an important service to the area and there are many studies that agree the importance of music in the early years helps their development.
"Music is a massive passion of mine and John's.
"Our whole lives revolve around music.
"I love being able to incorporate my music into my workshops - it is ideal."

The Music Centre also had a store which stocks guitars, drums, amps and a large range of accessories.
