ST Mary's Catholic High School in Astley was a hive of activity for its annual open day.
Hundreds of pupils at the Manchester Road school gave up their Saturday morning to welcome visitors and shared their learning experiences.
The event showed parents of primary school pupils the facilities their children would be using if they went there.
Parents commented that the school has a "happy and safe feel" and that there is "excellent pastoral support available".

The politeness and informative nature of the students was also noted.
In a speech, head teacher Andrew Dawson asked parents to visit the school again, but on a normal working day, to witness its "warm but calm and purposeful atmosphere".
