FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a fire at a house this morning, Friday.
Four fire engines were called to a property on Leigh Road in Atherton at around 7.45am where crews used hose reels to extinguish the flames.
Damage was caused to windows on the top floor of the house during the fire
An ambulance and rapid response unit were sent to the scene but no-one was treated for injuries.

Leigh Road was partially blocked and a large amount of traffic built up in the area.
