It may still only be October, but the BBC's Christmas Good Food awards have been announced in plenty of time to start planning festive feasts.
Judges at the magazine blind tasted more than 200 products in 24 different categories from nibbles to stuffing, gravy to puds and pastries, all selected from the country’s 12 top supermarkets.
