POLICE have seized a vehicle with false registration plates for forensic examination after being called to reports of an attempted burglary.
Officers were called to Hulme Road in Leigh to reports of the attempted break-in.
Police arrived at the scene at around 11pm on Thursday night and conducted a search of the area but did not find any suspects.
However, an abandoned vehicle which was on false plates had been left.
Officers have recovered it for a forensic examination.
