THIS picture of King Street in Leigh was taken on a morning in June 1950.
The photograph shows Spinning Jenny tile panel on a building on the corner of Spinning Jenny Way.
The building was subsequently demolished during the redevelopment of the town centre.
The tile panel was displayed inside Leigh Town Hall.
The former Eagle and Child pub is also shown in the image.
