SPINNING Gate Shopping Centre said record numbers of families enjoyed its free October half term children's events and attractions last week.
Almost 1,000 little ones visited the centre's free children's events which took place from Monday to Friday.
Spinning Gate offered spooky Halloween family fun in preparation for the big day today, Thursday.
Families got creative at the free events where little ones decorated their own Halloween masks and trick or treat bags.

Peopled created their own pumpkin pom poms and bunting too.
And last Thursday, hundreds of families flocked to visit a creepie-crawly petting zoo. They got up close to snakes, bearded dragons, tarantulas, frogs, lots of insects and a stunning barn owl.
Spinning Gate Shopping Centre manager Karen Cox said: "We are delighted with the success of our October Half Term events for families to enjoy.
"Some of the families returned every day to visit our free events and attractions."
