NURSERY children took part in a walk which was organised to encourage their attention skills.
Youngsters at Bright Horizons Astley Day Nursery and Preschool recently took part in a listening walk.
The event encouraged them to listen to their surroundings and hone their attention skills.
The children created their own set of big ears which they cut out and stuck onto a headband before going on the walk.
“The children were listening out for the sounds they could hear and what they could see,” said Katie Hargreaves, assistant nursery manager at Bright Horizons Astley.
“They heard a bird, lorry and leaves in the wind.”
