THREE councillors are halfway through a Movember challenge to support a cause that helps young people in need of help.
Atherton representatives Stuart Gerrard, Jamie Hodgkinson and James Paul Watson had clean shaves at the start of November ahead of growing moustaches in aid of the Willow Project.
The charity provides a counselling service for children and young people from six to 19, who are affected by emotional and mental health issues.
It also offers activities and day trips for youngsters.

In a statement, the councillors said: "We chose to support the Willow Project as they are based in Atherton and supports children within our community, and also to make aware that people need to get help and support when they can."
