A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference and stealing from a car.
Officers received a call from a member of public at around 4am today (Saturday) who reported seeing a man trying car doors on Shelley Street in Leigh.
Police, along with dog patrol assistance, searched the area.
Officers found a suspect with a number of items in his possession.
These consisted of music CDs and toiletry items.
Police arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of vehicle interference and theft from motor vehicle.
Anyone who recognises any of the items is asked to message GMP Leigh or ring 101, and quote log 577 of November 16.
