A Longtown man has been charged with theft of more than £100,000, allegedly taking place over a period of eight years.
A Cumbria Police spokesman has confirmed: "Stewart McIntosh, 58, of English Street, Longtown was charged with fraud, theft and false accounting.
The charges relate to offences allegedly committed between 2010 and 2018.
McIntosh will appear at Carlisle Magistrates next month.
