A MAN has been banned after being more than two times over the drink driving limit and driving a van dangerously.
Gary Burnett, of Whinchat Close, Lowton was over the limit when he was stopped on Mather Lane in Leigh on November 16.
The 28-year-old also drove a van dangerously in Leigh on Spinning Jenny Way, Chapel Street and Mather Lane.

Appearing at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, Burnett, who pleaded guilty to both charges, was disqualified for two years and ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work.
He must carry out a rehabilitation activity course and pay a £90 victim services surcharge fee and £85 in court costs.
