Mole Valley District Council (MVDC) are offering free parking to Christmas shoppers during December.
A spokesperson for the Council confirmed on Friday (November 22) that select dates and times in December would feature free parking for Christmas shoppers in Leatherhead, Ashtead, Bookham and Dorking.
Car Parks run by MVDC "will be free of charge on the three Saturdays before Christmas," the spokesperson said.
That's December 7, December 14 and December 21.
"No tickets will be required for these days.
"Parking machines will be clearly marked with posters showing the free parking days on these dates," the Council spokesperson added.
MVDC added that any money paid into parking meters on the days listed as free would instead be donated to the MVDC Chairman's charities — Leatherhead Youth Project, PSDS and Belong.
Meanwhile, free parking from 3pm will also be made available specifically for the following Christmas events:
- Light Up Leatherhead, Saturday November 30
- Ashtead, Tuesday December 3
- Bookham, Thursday December 5
- Dorking, Friday December December 20
