Commuters who travel on the Southwestern (SWR) Rail Service will soon be able to download revised timetables to help with their commute during the planned strikes.

The timetables will be available at the beginning of next week and passengers will be able to view revised routes as well as important changes to SWR's normal service provision.

A Spokesperson for SWR said: "While we will again be calling on our team of contingency guards to keep services running, the prolonged nature of this industrial action means we have had to adjust our normal strike timetables to reflect this.

"As a result - we expect to run more than half of our normal Monday to Friday services, prioritising capacity during peak periods, with the same level of peak services as in previous strikes.

"Peak services will be much busier than normal and we may have to introduce queuing at a number of our busiest stations"

Passengers using the SWR service should also be aware that services will end at 11pm and to also note that off-peak frequencies will be reduced and there will also be a bus service that will replace some train routes.

There will be a different timetable service on December 23, as services will finish earlier and there will be no service on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
