A MAN has been handed a community order after being more than three times over the drink driving limit.
Christopher Hurst, of Egburton Court, Golborne, pleaded guilty to being over the limit when he was behind the wheel on Braithwaite Road in Lowton on November 11.
The 38-year-old must carry out 90 hours of unpaid work and complete a rehabilitation activity course.
He was also banned for 26 months which may be reduced by 198 days if he completes a course.

Hurst was told to pay a £90 victim services surcharge fee and £85 in court costs as well.
He was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
