A MAN who was more than two times over the limit has been banned.

Joseph Goldie, of Darlington Street East, Tyldesley pleaded guilty to drink driving when he was on Shuttle Street in Leigh on November 10.

The 28-year-old was disqualified for two years which may be reduced by 24 weeks if he completes a course.

He must also carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and pay a £90 victim services surcharge fee and £85 in court costs.

Goldie was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
