A KIND-HEARTED girl will be having her long locks of hair chopped off tomorrow, Tuesday, to help a cancer cause on her ninth birthday.

Holly Hodson, who lives in Lowton, has never had a proper haircut before but will now have it cut so it can be donated to the Little Princess Trust.

The charity provides wigs for children who have lost their hair due to having cancer treatment.

Holly's mum Lisa, 36, said: "I am very proud of Holly for doing it. I think it is lovely.

"She has been growing her hair for years."

Holly has also raised more than £280 through a crowdfunding page for the charity. To donate to it click here.
