SPORTS and activity classes for retired and semi-retired people have been launched at Leigh Miners Welfare Institute.
Wigan Athletic Community Trust's Extra Hub, which caters for over 55s, gives people the chance to socialise and take part in quizzes, table tennis, badminton among other activities.

The sessions are held every Thursday at the Kirby Road venue between 1pm and 3pm.
The first session is free to attend with it costing £3 after then.
Refreshments are also included.
Latics Extra Time Hub, which is backed by the EFL Trust and funded by Sport England and the National Lottery, also runs at the DW Stadium in Wigan every Tuesday between 1pm and 3pm.
