PANTOMIME Dick Whittington and His Cat will be taking centre stage at St Joseph's Hall in Leigh from Wednesday, January 22.

St Joseph's Players will be performing the classic folklore tale, written by Doreen Johnson, at the Chapel Street theatre in 11 showings including four matinees.

As with all good pantomimes, the family-friendly production encourages audiences to join in with the fun.

Dance, live music, comedy and song will be part of the act to keep spectators entertained in the dynamic production, which is directed by Pauline Nevell and Gabrielle Fitzsimmons.
