TAKE a trip to Narnia at The Harlequin Theatre with the young cast of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

The Northwich venue’s youth theatre is bringing CS Lewis’s classic tale of good versus evil to the stage in Queen Street from Thursday, January 23 to Saturday, January 25.

The talented young cast cast bring Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy to life as they embark on a magical mystery tour to the Land of Narnia through the wardrobe.

There they encounter the wicked White Witch, representing the forces of evil, and the King of the Beasts, Aslan the lion, representing all that is good and right.

The youth theatre, which was launched in 2013, has become renowned for its performances with its previous production of Peter Pan selling out.

Tickets for the show are priced £8 for adults and £6 for children. They can be booked at harlequinplayers.com or by calling 01606 246831.

There is a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm, and the evening shows start at 7.45pm.

The theatre group is always looking to expand its membership and relies on volunteers to keep the adult and youth groups going.
