DETECTIVES are continuing to investigate after shots were fired at a house and car in a "targeted attack" two weeks ago.

Police were called by firefighters to a car fire on Henry Street in Leigh shortly before 8pm on Wednesday, January 22.

Officers found evidence of firearm discharges targeting the vehicle and a nearby property.

A short time later, police were also called by firefighters to a car fire on Broadwell Drive. A stolen vehicle was found there.

Police confirmed enquiries are ongoing to establish if the incidents are linked.

And two weeks later no arrests have been made with the case ongoing.
