A TEENAGER has been handed a suspended sentence after carrying a fish knife in a public place.
Cole Longshaw, of Railway Street, Atherton was in possession of the blade on January 17.
The 18-year-old was given a three-month detention order suspended for a year and told to complete a rehabilitation course.

He must pay a £122 victim services surcharge fee and a £85 in court costs.
Longshaw appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
