CHESTER Road and Manchester Road have been blocked this morning due to fallen trees.
One lane of Chester Road is shut near to the junction with Brian Bevan Island, with police currently on the scene.
The road is also partially flooded in places.
High winds from Storm Ciara also brought a tree down on the A57 in Rixton, between the junctions with Chapel Lane and Warburton Bridge Road.

The lane heading in the direction of Warrington from Manchester was shut as a result, although traffic was able to pass the tree in the opposite carriageway.
But Warrington Borough Council has since removed the blockage and the route is fully reopened.
Alexandra Road in Stockton Heath is also reportedly blocked by a fallen tree at present.
