KNUTSFORD Hockey Club men's seconds remain undefeated in 2020 and hope to kick on.
In their latest outing, they won a ding-dong affair against Deeside Ramblers.
Knutsford were unlucky to concede the first goal of the game after dominating play, with excellent midfield displays coming from Ben Squires, Si Locke and Chris Drake.
Knutsford were brought back into the game by top goal scorer David Hickson.
He finished off some good play coming from the left hand side of the field.
The two sides battled for goals and the overall score finished 4-3.
The win leaves Knutsford fifth in North West Hockey League Division Two South, three points adrift Clwb Eirias.
They travel to Bangor this weekend for what is expected to be a difficult tie.
Knutsford will be without last weekend's man of the match, Mike Anderson.
"We are confident of succeeding and hope to push on for a top table finish," said second-team captain Ben Moser.
Knutsford men's first team won 1-0 at Lymm and remain second in North Hockey League West Division Two. The host University of Liverpool on Saturday, 2pm.
