A GANG filled three shopping trollies with perfume, vodka and champagne worth £3,500 before walking out of a Tesco supermarket without paying.

The raid, which took place at Tesco, Riverside Avenue, Bournemouth, is also being linked to a similar theft which took place at Tesco's Waterloo Road store in Poole three days earlier and netted thieves £7,500.

Now Dorset Police have released CCTV images of three people they would like to speak to in connection with the latest theft.

Officers say four people, a woman and three men, entered the Riverside Avenue store around 6pm on Saturday, January 25.

They filled one shopping trolley with £1,858 of perfume, then two trollies with vodka and champagne worth £1,645 before leaving the store without paying.

Sergeant Carmel Ryan, of Dorset Police, said: "We have found CCTV images of three people we would like to identify and have been making efforts to establish who they are, but these have so far proved to be unsuccessful.

“I would ask anyone who can tell me who they are to please contact Dorset Police."
