A 27-YEAR-OLD man who pleaded guilty to two assaults and criminal damage has been given a community order.
Steven Eccles, of Belmont Avenue, Golborne, committed the offences at an address in Newton-le-Willows on Christmas Day 2019.
Eccles pleaded guilty to two counts of assault and one count of criminal damage to a door.
He was given a community order and must undertake up to 20 days' rehabilitation activity and do 80 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months.
Eccles must also pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
