A CLOCK hand was removed from St John the Baptist's Church, Atherton yesterday afternoon, Sunday.
One fire engine and a hydraulic platform were sent to the Market Place church at around 3.30pm after a report was made that a clock hand was hanging over a public walkway.

Firefighters removed the hand and were in attendance until around 5pm.
No injuries were reported.
