A PROLIFIC shoplifter was jailed after committing a series of thefts.
Marie Darbyshire, of Glebe Street, Leigh stole bottles of spirits and plants from Asda between January 18 and 22.
By entering Asda, the 40-year-old, who was found guilty of six thefts, broke a criminal behaviour order which banned him from going into the shop.

At Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Monday, she was given a one-year sentence and ordered to pay £441 in compensation.
