A HGV driver has pleaded guilty to causing the death of a man by dangerous driving.
Florin Solomon, of Lansdowne Walk, Worcester has also admitted causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a horror crash in Leigh last month.
The 28-year-old, who appeared at Bolton Crown Court today, Wednesday, has been remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced on April 9.
The collision, involving a HGV and a car, happened on the East Lancashire Road near the junction with Atherleigh Way at around 10.20am on Tuesday, January 21.

Despite the best efforts of a paramedics, 58-year-old man Mark Byrne MBE, died at the scene.
A 56-year-old woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
The road was closed for most of the day as investigation work took place.
