A MAN has been handed a curfew after being more than three times over the drink driving limit.

David Beazant, of Rothay Street, Leigh was over the limit when he was driving in Wigan on February 7.

The 30-year-old, who pleaded guilty at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court yesterday, Wednesday, was given a 26-week curfew.

He was also disqualified from driving for two-and-a-half years which may be reduced by 30 weeks if he completes a course.

Beazant was also ordered to pay a £90 victim services surcharge fee and £85 in court costs.
