A WAREHOUSE building has been completed on the site of a former brewery depot.

The building, Stone Cross 72, is situated on land where the former Carlsberg depot on Yew Tree Way in Golborne stood.

The work is part of a project that has been carried out by property developer Stoford Developments and partner Oxenwood Real Estate.

The 72,740sq/ft site is the second phase of the Stone Cross Park scheme which has been built to meet the demand of the warehouse sector.

Last year, Stoford Developments and partner Oxenwood Real Estate sold an existing 126,000sq/ft logistics facility to global packaging firm ALPLA.

Stoford Developments director Tony Nash said: “Stone Cross 72 is a high-quality, speculatively-developed unit, ready for immediate occupation.

"The warehouse lies within a prime and established logistics location that is well connected to the M6 and M62 corridors and houses internationally-renowned occupiers.”
