A NATIONWIDE campaign has been launched to show appreciation for NHS workers on the frontline of the fight against coronavirus.
It's aim is have a massive round of applause on Thursday, March 26, at 8pm - whether it's in your garden, from a window or balcony.
The campaign is being run by #clapforourcarers and the message has been shared millions of times on social media.
Similar campaigns have been staged in European countries that have been hard hit by the virus - including Spain, France and the Netherlands.
The campaign website states: "It's to get everyone to clap for everyone that works in the frontline, doctors, nurses doctors, pharmacists and EVERYONE related at the frontline."
