A MAN was taken to hospital with "life-threatening injuries" after a crash between a car and a pushbike this afternoon, Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to Warrington Road in Leigh near the junction at The Greyhound Hotel roundabout on the East Lancashire Road at around 2.40pm following a collision between a car and a pushbike.
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with "life-threatening" injuries.
An air ambulance was sent to the scene as a precaution.
Road closures remain in place with traffic building in the area.
