Increase in confirmed coronavirus cases in borough in latest figures
THE number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the borough has jumped by nine, according to the latest figures released today (Sunday).
The number for the borough has increased from 30 to 39, according to Government figures.
There are likely to many more people with the virus, self-isolating at home.
Across the UK there have been 19,522 confirmed cases, with 1,228 people having died after testing positive for the coronavirus.
There are 135 cases of people confirmed to have recovered after contracting the virus.
