THE number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the borough has increased to 53 as of Monday.
Latest figures from Public Health England on Monday show that 53 people have now tested positive for COVID-19, up from 39 on Sunday.
Last week it was reported that Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also tested positive for coronavirus after suffering from 'mild symptoms' as well as chief medical officer Chris Whitty.
Last week, Johnson announced a range of severe restrictions.
Here is the current government advice:
- Stay at home
- Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (where this absolutely cannot be done from home)
- Stay two metres (six feet) away from other people
- Wash your hands as soon as you get home
You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.
