A 28-YEAR-OLD woman was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a three-vehicle crash on the East Lancashire Road.
Officers responded to a three-vehicle collision on the East Lancs, near to the junction of Atherleigh Way on Monday morning (March 29).
Police, the fire and rescue service and ambulance attended the scene.
Police say there were no serious injuries sustained in the crash. A woman was arrested at the scene
A spokesman said: "Fortunately there were no serious injuries sustained in this incident.
"There were temporary road closures in place which recovery work took place.
"A 28-year-old female was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol, she has since released under investigation whilst enquiries are completed."
