IT was 24 years ago today that Warrington Wolves played their first ever game of Super League.
Here's a record of that day, and those who have accrued Wire club records since:
31 March 1996
First ever Super League game, against Leeds, winning 22-18, with Tongan winger Mateaki Mafi being Wire's first ever try scorer. It was also the only game in Super League that the club never wore squad numbers.
