OVER 50s in Warrington are enjoying virtual coffee mornings together thanks to LifeTime.

LifeTime is usually based at The Gateway in the town centre, offering drop-ins, information, a computer suite and a wide programme of affordable activities and classes for those over 50.

More than 600 people take part in the activities each week and LifeTimw wanted keep something on offer during the current health crisis.

LifeTime's team of colleagues and volunteers have risen to the challenge and moved online to connect over the internet for a coffee morning together.

There are now 36 members and volunteers meeting online to chat, share experiences and keep the laughter flowing.

Andrea Rees, LifeTime officer, said: "It’s been great to see how everyone has been excited to learn this new skill.

"It shows how much everyone values what they get out of coming to LifeTime, that they want to keep connected, even when they can’t come into the centre.

"If you need support to get online we have people who can help."

For those who cannot get online, LifeTime colleagues can be contacted on 246824.
