POLICE are hunting for thugs who have maimed domestic cats in Golborne.
Two cats have been left with "life changing injuries" after being attacked between May Street and Edge Green Lane.
Police say the despicable attacks happened in recent days, since Monday, March 30.
Officers are appealing for information or any CCTV footage which could help their investigation.
Greater Manchester Police said: "We are appealing for any information the public may have regarding the intentional maiming of domestic cats in Golborne between May Street and Edge Green Lane.
"This has occurred over the last few days since the March 30, 2020.
"Currently we are aware of two cats who have been injured and left with life changing injuries which has caused great distress to them and their owners.
"If you have any cctv or information regarding the above please contact 101 quoting log number 375 of April 1, 2020."
