There are 91 confirmed cases in the borough
CONFIRMED coronavirus cases in the borough has increased to 91.
In the latest figures released on Thursday (April 2) the borough has 91 confirmed cases of Covid-19.
There are likely to many more people with the virus, self-isolating at home.
NHS England has confirmed that three people died, who had the virus, at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Hospitals, one on Tuesday and two on Wednesday.
Across the country there have been 33,718 confirmed cases, with 2,921 people dying with the illness.
