A MAN in his 70s has died in Warrington town centre.
Officers were flagged down by a passersby on Sankey Street just before 11.05am today Saturday, April 4 to reports of a man having collapsed on the street.
Paramedics were called and worked on the man, however he died at the scene.
During this incident, Sankey Street was closed by police, however it has since reopened.
The case is being treated as a sudden, unexpected death.
