TWO people have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a woman in Tyldesley.
Shortly after 4.10pm on Wednesday, May 13 police were called to reports that a woman had been stabbed on Elliott Street.
Officers attended and a 39-year-old woman was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. She has since been discharged.
A 23-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault.
A 41-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Both were taken to custody and enquiries are ongoing.
