WE'VE moved on to number 6 in the countdown for favourite Warrington Wolves Magic Weekend moments as chosen by sports editor Mike Parsons.
The coronavirus lockdown in the UK has put paid to the scheduled 2020 Magic event in Newcastle this weekend, so we're remembering some of the good times since the concept began in 2007 instead.
See if you agree with Mike's choices as we continue to count down from 10 to 1 over the coming days and let us know if there’s any other moments you would have included.
Number 6: Magical Monaghan
Scoring five tries in a match is a rare feat, but it was extra special for Wire winger Joel Monaghan in 2012.
For it came in front of a massive Wire turnout at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on a day when Warrington’s highest Super League win against fierce rivals Widnes Vikings was achieved in what was also a seventh straight win for Tony Smith’s men.
And overnight the 68-4 humbling of their derby rivals put Warrington top of the table.
