A WOMAN who damaged a police van by urinating in it has been electronically tagged after appearing in court.

Manchester Magistrates' Court heard how Danielle Hennifer, aged 33, of Bradford Street, Bolton, was being transported in the van on May 22 when she committed the offence.

As well as pleading guilty to causing criminal damage, Hannifer also admitted interfering with a VW Touran with the intention of stealing and using threatening behaviour, which was racially aggravated.

Hennifer was fined £80 plus £180 in costs and charges and made subject to a 7pm to 6am curfew for four weeks, which will be electronically monitored.
