RESIDENTS are being encouraged to have a 'summer' clear out to help raise vital funds for charity.

St David's Hospice has 26 shops across Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey.

All shops are currently closed in line with government guidelines but a break-in of the hospice's donation centre in Mochdre, earlier in the year, has left stock levels are low.

Donations of items are being sought to help plug the gap.

Janet Magill, head of Retail and Facilities, said: "We would really appreciate if you could set aside your pre-loved items for St David’s Hospice. Please don’t send it to landfill when the recycling centres open. Hold on to the saleable items for a little bit longer and help our shops raise much-needed cash for local hospice care."

“Also to ensure we can make the most out of the donated goods, we would like to encourage everyone to download a gift aid donation form which can be found on the Hospice’s website and should be handed in with the items.”
