A BOY has been left ‘devastated’ after his bike was stolen for the second time in a year.
The 12-year-old had his bicycle stolen from Bennetts Recreation Ground on Sunday, May 31 – only 10 days after his birthday.
It is described as being a black Trek mountain bike, which was given to the youngster as a Christmas present.
His mum Sarah Pickering said: “This the second one in 12 months, he is devastated.
“Last time this happened he suffered terribly afterwards, not sleeping and being generally unwell – he was treated at the doctors four times.
“I wanted to put an appeal out to help get it back.
“I’m a hard-working mum-of-two and any help would be appreciated.”
