FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a blaze inside a disused building on the outskirts of Chester
Two crews from Chester and Powey Lane responded to reports of a fire at Rough Hill, Marlston cum Lache shortly before 4pm yesterday (Saturday, July 4).
On arrival firefighters discovered a fire involving a quantity of rubbish inside the disused building.
They used one hose reel and one breathing apparatus to put out the fire.
While damping the area down and turning over the rubbish they then used a thermal imaging camera to check for fire spread.
Crews were in attendance for about one hour and ten minutes.
